Nobby Beach Holiday Village will be open on the 13th June 2020 for QUEENSLAND HOLIDAY GUESTS who reside within 250km of our Park. In line with current COVID-19 restrictions, for any stays from the 13th June 2020 onwards, guests must adhere to the following conditions with no exceptions:

  • Bookings will only be accepted from holiday guests who reside within 250km driving radius of our park (QLD only). You may be required to show proof of residence.
  • Nobby Beach Holiday Village recommends all guests to have downloaded and activated the COVID Safe App.
  • A guest declaration must be completed for all parties on arrival for potential contact tracing if required.
  • Maximum of 20 people in any gathering. This remains state law and will be monitored by staff, but we expect responsible behaviour. Any patrons found to be disobeying this will be asked to leave.
  • The water slide swimming pool, playground and any recreational areas are open (social distancing rules apply).
  • The water slide is closed until further notice.
  • All indoor amenities, chill-out room, laundries etc. must operate strictly in accordance with the 4 square metre per person rule.
  • Social distancing practices still apply, including; 1.5m separation from others, limiting 1 person per 4m2 (excl. your household). Social distancing is the responsibility of every patron. Anybody found to be disregarding social distancing measures will be asked to leave.
  • Children must be supervised at all times, while exercising and playing around the park (includes bike riding and scootering), within your camp-site, caravan, or cabin ensuring compliance with group gathering guidelines as outlined above.
  • Guests must abide by safe practice and the required hygiene rules. Wash your hands regularly, cover your cough, avoid touching your face and shaking hands with anyone. Especially when using any communal facilities including laundry and communal camp kitchen.
  • If you’re not feeling well please ensure you stay home for the safety of everyone. Similarly, if you or any member of your party becomes unwell while staying or up to 2 weeks after departure at Nobby Beach Holiday Village, you must advise Reception immediately on 07 5572 7533 or via email on info@nbhv.com.au.
  • Wristbands are to be worn by all Nobby Beach Guest’s (adults and children) throughout the duration of your stay

Any patrons found to be disregarding any of the above conditions will be asked to leave without refund. We ask for everyone’s cooperation during this time to ensure restrictions continue to be relaxed and we can get back to normal operations as soon as possible.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and guests always has and always will be paramount to Nobby Beach Holiday Village, so we can assure you we are continuing to take hygiene measures very seriously. As always, our staff are here to help and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all who visit Nobby Beach Holiday Village. Please follow their instructions and ensure you continue to abide by existing State and Federal restrictions for the safety and well-being of us all.

What are we doing to reduce the risk of COVID-19?

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees are our highest priority as COVID-19 continues to pose a health risk across the globe.

We assure you that we are taking hygiene seriously. You can be confident that our park is being cleaned to the highest of standards, and that our staff are employing heightened levels of sanitation From issuing your key, and amenities blocks, we’re in overdrive ensuring every touchpoint has been cleaned vigilantly

What should I do if I have a booking?

If you’re uncertain about your booking please contact the park directly via email at info@nbhv.com.au, we are being inundated with calls and would appreciate emails where possible to ensure we can get back to you regarding your booking as soon as possible. We please ask for your cooperation and patience while we endeavour to respond to everyone as soon as possible, as we are currently dealing with a large number of enquiries.

If I make a new booking can I change it if circumstances change?

Due to the ever-changing nature of COVID-19, we are offering flexible booking conditions for all bookings made between the 13th June and the 11th December 2020, in the case that the park is forced to close or you or anyone in your travelling party become infected with the COVID-19 virus within 14 days of your arrival dates (a doctors certificate will be required). All guests who meet these criteria have a few options regarding their booking;

  • Change your current booking to a later date, or
  • Receive a credit for monies paid to be used within 12 months of the current arrival date.

For all guests staying beyond the 11 December 2020, the parks normal booking and cancellation policy applies, however, we will continue to monitor this situation on a daily basis and update our policies where applicable, all updates to be provided on this page.
