Arriving by car

Southbound on the M1 from Brisbane – take the Nerang-Broadbeach Road Exit, continue until you reach the Gold Coast Highway, turn right and continue until you reach Miami, you will see us on the right. Driving from Brisbane: 85.6 kilometres (1 hour).

Northbound on the Pacific Highway from New South Wales – take the Tugun Bypass Exit Tweed Heads, continue along the Pacific Motorway (M1), at Tallebudgera take the Tsipura Drive Exit, continue along West Burleigh Road, turn left on the Gold Coast Highway, continue along the Highway until you see us on the left. Driving from Sydney: 853 kilometres (10 hours).

Arriving by air

From Gold Coast Airport, Coolangatta – driving north on the Gold Coast Highway, continue along Stewart Road, turn right onto Pacific Motorway, take the Tsipura Drive, Tallebudgera Exit, continue along West Burleigh Road, turn left on Gold Coast Highway, continue along until you see us on the left. Driving: 17 kilometres (20 minutes).

If your aren’t driving, there are plenty of airport transfer options that will bring you direct to our doorstep, including coach shuttle services, local shuttle services and taxis. Visit the Transit and Information Desk right outside International Arrivals for information on these services.

Getting around

Once you’ve settled in at Nobby Beach Holiday Village no doubt you’ll want to start exploring all that the Gold Coast has to offer. Getting around town is easy with plenty of convenient transport options available.

Buses

Buses are the quickest and most cost effective way of getting around. The main bus line Surfside reaches most tourist areas and shopping centres, with bus stops positioned every 300 metres and adjacent to all the major centres. For timetable information visit www.surfside.com.au or phone 13 10 08.

Taxis and limousines

Gold Coast car rentals

Discover the Gold Coast at your own leisure. There are plenty of hire car companies to choose from, offering all makes and models and suitable for all budgets. Choose from the local providers or the larger companies including Budget, Gold Coast Family Car Rentals, Europcar or Thrifty.

Trains

Travelling by train is not the preferred means of travel on the Gold Coast, unless traveling direct from Brisbane or New South Wales. There are only a few stations on the Gold Coast; Helensvale, Nerang, Robina and Varsity Lakes. Bus connections run regularly from these stations to Surfers Paradise. Two wheeler options

Scooters, motorbikes, bicycles and mopeds are readily available for hire on the Gold Coast and are a great way to explore the local tourist attractions at your own pace. Ensure you familiarise yourself with the local road regulations and you have the appropriate licence before hiring.
